Trucking or big rig accidents

According to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, in 2017 4,761 people were killed in crashes involving large trucks, of which 3,289 involved tractor-trailers or combination trucks, meaning 69% of accident resulted in fatalities involved tractor-trailers.

Big rig accidents are often caused by inattention, driver error, inexperience, fatigue, alcohol, or drugs.   Negligent maintenance and repairs must be also evaluated by the appropriate experts.

Most modern big rigs are now equipped with video cams which will most likely not be produced until after a lawsuit has been filed.   It is critical to retain the appropriate experts to inspect the tractor-trailer as soon as possible following an accident involving big rigs.

The Law Office of Danny Soong has unparalleled experience in handling big rig accidents.
